Chiral Alleno-Acetylenic Oligomers

Allenes and their derivatives are carbon-rich and axially chiral compounds. Recently, our group has developed 1,3-diethynylallenes (DEAs) and applied DEAs to the synthesis of macrocycles and oligomers. These molecules are expected interesting optoelectronic properties and amplification of chirality. We are investigating design and synthesis of new chiral foldamers.
