Donor-Acceptor-Substituted Chromophores for Electronic and Optoelectronic Applications

Over recent years, an impressive attention has been addressed to electron donor-acceptor (D-A)-substituted organic compounds, bearing intramolecular charge-transfer (CT) interactions. Synthetic accessibility and structural tunability to enhance specific properties for specialized applications make these systems particularly appealing, and promising candidates for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices.

The aim of this project is the design, the synthesis and the property study for a new class of charge-transfer chromophores.
